DJI Matrice 210 RTK - Precision Enterprise Quadcopter

The Matrice 210 RTK is the premium model in the Matrice 200 series. The 210 RTK has all the features of the Matrice 210 but adds multiple payload configurations and universal ports as well as RTK functionality as standard.

This allows you to mount a camera on top of the quadcopter, or have two cameras mounted to the bottom of the craft. Inspections with drones have never been so simple!

Multiple Payload Configurations

The Matrice 210 RTK is the first DJI drone to offer multiple payload configurations, including:

  • Single Downward Gimbal
  • Single Upward Gimbal
  • Dual Downward Gimbal

This range of different payload configurations means that almost any inspection task can be achieved using the Matrice 210 RTK.

You can use a thermal camera alongside the X5S for example, to capture high-quality photographs while also gathering thermal data.

This will make inspections much more efficient, allowing each flight to perform multiple tasks.

Foldable Design and FPV Camera

The Matrice 210 RTK quadcopter also has the same foldable design found on the other Matrice 200 drones.

The addition of an FPV camera means that operators will be able to operate the drone more easily.

When undertaking commercial inspections, it's important to be able to get up and running quickly.

The M210 RTK's foldable design means you'll be up and running in no time.

It's easier to unfold and get flying with the Matrice 210 RTK than it would be with the Matrice 600 or Matrice 600 Pro.

Matrice 210 RTK Supported Cameras

The Matrice 210 RTK supports a range of existing DJI cameras.

This will allow the operator to capture both high-quality video footage or stills, as well as enterprise level thermal or inspection data.

The cameras supported are:

  • Zenmuse XT Thermal (Thermal XTs purchased before April 2017 need a dealer update before being mounted to M200 call 0191 296 1024 for more details)

Why Choose the M210 RTK?

The Matrice 210 RTK features Real Time Kinematic GPS positioning for up-to-centimetre accuracy. This also has the added benefit of protecting the aircraft from strong RF / EMF interference such as power lines, radio towers, etc.

This RTK data is directly linked to DJI's sensors (selected payloads) allowing for geotagging of imagery.

Where Can I Fly?

Drone pilots should follow the Drone Code, or permissions granted by their PfCO/standard permission.

Where Can I Fly?

There can be no uninvolved people present within the area of flight; and there can be no flight within 150m horizontally of residential, commercial, industrial, or recreational areas (A3 subcategory of Open category).

Want more freedom? Complete a GVC (General VLOS Certificate).

How Do I Get a GVC?

Sit a GVC course with Heliguy. The GVC consists of a theoretical syllabus, followed by a multiple-choice examination.

Following completion of the course, candidates are required to produce an Operations Manual embracing the applicable Pre-Defined Risk Assessments (PDRA) and/or Standard Scenarios (STS).and will undergo a practical flight assessment with a flight examiner. Following completion, candidates will receive a recommendation for the issue of the GVC and can apply to operate under standard permissions. The GVC course is currently being run online through Heliguy Blackbox.

What Happens If I Have a PfCO?

Holders of a standard permission valid beyond December 31 2020 can operate under the terms of the permission, until their renewal date. Then apply to fly under an Operational Authorisation (replacing the PfCO).


From January 2023 (End of Transitional Period)

The rules will change for DJI aircraft in their current form. Updated information released nearer the time.
