Tello Iron Man Edition launched

Now you can fly like a superhero - thanks to the launch of the new Ryze Tello Iron Man Edition.

Designed especially for Marvel fans, this new release is perfect for learning how to fly a drone while immersed in the exciting world of The Avengers.

Inspired by Iron Man's classic armour, Tello Iron Man Edition's shell includes the heroic Arc Reactor, while its motors and propeller tips are dipped in gold.

It is priced £129 and is available for pre-order from Heliguy. We expect to have stock later this month. Tello Iron Man Edition Propeller Guards come in the box, but they can also be purchased as spares, priced £7. 

The Tello Iron Man Edition builds on the success of the original Tello. Like the standard Tello, the Iron Man Edition is ideal for first-time flyers, including children, and can be flown indoors.

It can also perform eight different flips, fly up and down from your hand in Bounce mode, or automatically record short videos with EZ Shots.

Super App for a Super(Hero) Drone

This new edition features the Tello Hero App, which provides an immersive experience and gives you a peek into Iron Man's world. 

With FRIDAY, Iron Man's AI assistant, you can complete missions while exploring Tello's expansive range of possibilities.

Please note that the Tello Hero app is only compatible with Tello Iron Man Edition, and not the standard Tello.

A Safe Flight

Supported by DJI flight tech, the Tello Iron Man Edition ensures safety in the air - no matter where the adventure takes you.

Features like low battery protection and propeller guards make sure that Tello's defences are up for the challenge. These and other elements ensure that you can fly like a superhero.

Intelligent Flight Functions

Tello can perform a range of heroic feats, with creative features such as 360, Throw and Go and 8D Flips. Tello can also fly indoors.

Tello Iron Man's incredible camera system grants an engaging FPV view. 720p HD transmission, 5MP photos and electronic image stabilisation ensures that this drone beats its rivals.

This drone also boasts up to 13 minutes of flight time and a 100-metre maximum distance.

Tello Iron Man Edition supports the Tello EDU app and the Swift Playgrounds app, as well as Python and Scratch, a visual programming language. Thanks to this, you can programme the drone to fly and perform tricks just as Tony Stark programmes his technology to combat malignant forces. 

What is the difference between the Tello Iron Man Edition and the standard Tello?

In terms of appearance, Tello Iron Man Edition features an Iron Man-inspired design.

In terms of function, Tello Iron Man Edition shares all the features of the standard Tello and is also compatible with the custom Tello Hero app.

Tello Iron Man Edition is not only compatible with the custom Tello Hero app, but it is also compatible with the Tello app, Tello EDU app, and Swift Playgrounds app. However, it only supports the first two chapters in the Tello Space Travel tutorial. As stated previously, the standard Tello is not compatible with the Tello Hero app.
