The DJI Phantom 4 Pro comes with the Terrain Follow Flight Mode which enables the aircraft pilot to designate a specific flying height.

During the DJI Phantom 4 Pro flight the aircraft will maintain the recorded height and ascend or descend dependant on the terrain gradient.

This is an impressive feature that allows the pilot to concentrate on other aspects of the flight.

In this fast Heliguy™ tutorial you'll learn how to easily switch between Terrain Follow flight modes.





  1. Launch the DJI GO 4 App

    Start by launching the DJI GO 4 App.

  2. Enter Intelligent Flight Menu

    Select the Intelligent Flight Menu situated at the left hand side of the screen.

  3. Tap on Terrain Follow Icon

    To enter Terrain Follow click on the Terrain Follow icon.

  4. Choose Terrain Height



    You can now decide the flight height for the DJI Phantom 4 to follow.



During Terrain Follow it's important you keep an eye on your DJI Phantom 4 Pro.

Ensure you are flying in a safe area with as ew obstacles as possible to conduct a safe flight.
