In this post, we will look at how to update the DJI Osmo Action camera. To complete this you will need the Osmo Action and a mobile device that can run the DJI Mimo App.
We also recommend fully charging the Osmo Action before completing these steps.
Step 1
Insert SD Card into the Osmo Action.
Step 2
Power on the DJI Osmo Action camera.
Step 3
Connect the Osmo Action to the phone via the Mimo app.
Step 4
Return to the main screen of the DJI Mimo app and click "Update".
Step 5
Click download on the DJI Mimo App to start the update.
Step 6
Your download will now start, ensure your device is connected to WIFI throughout this.
Step 7
Once the update has downloaded, click the "Install" button to start the install on the Osmo Action. Ensure that the Osmo Action remains turned on throughout this process and your phone remains connected.
Step 8
Your update will now begin to install on the device, keep your app open and both devices switched on throughout this process.
Step 9
Your update will now be complete, click done and you can now use your Osmo Action. If the update fails for any reason, follow the steps again.
