CAA Approved Training
Heliguy are a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved National Qualified Entity (NQE) with a wealth of experience in commercial drone training. Our training includes the following sections:- Ground School - Classroom-based training on safe drone operations, UK air law, airspace operating principles and equipment used during flight. Once completed, a theory exam must be taken.
- Operations Manual - Document submitted to the CAA which outlines how you intend to use your drone in a commercial capacity. heliguy™ provides help and guidance with the manual.
- Flight Assessment - Practical assessment where the pilot’s control of their drone as well as safety checks and notifications are assessed.
DJI Spark
The DJI Spark is DJI’s mini-quadcopter designed to perfectly suit the consumer market. DJI Mavic Pro
The Mavic Pro from DJI is their standout prosumer drone. With its small foldable design, the Mavic is DJI’s most portable drone yet but is packed with power. Video can be captured in RAW at up to 4K 30fps and images at 12MPs. You can control the camera on the Mavic with the DJI Gesture Mode, allowing users to take stunning pictures with simple hand movements. Phantom 4 Pro
The Phantom 4 Pro is the leading aircraft from the Phantom series. Featuring a 1-inch 20MP sensor capable of capturing 4K video at 60fps. Its mechanical shutter eliminates image distortion at high speeds. The Phantom 4 Pro has a battery life of 30 minutes and can reach 45 mph in its Sport Mode. The Phantom 4 Pro has 5-direction obstacle sensing and 4-direction obstacle avoidance at speeds of up to 31 mph. Phantom 4 Advanced
The Phantom 4 Advanced features the majority of the functionality of the Phantom 4 Pro including the 20MPcamera capable of 4K at 60fps, access to DJI’s Intelligent Flight Modes, speeds of up to 45 mph and a flight time of up to 30 minutes. To increase the affordability of the Phantom 4 Advanced, it does not include a rear vision sensor, two infrared sensors and cannot access the 5.8ghz frequency band. The Phantom 4 Advanced+ also comes with a 1,000nit display on the remote controller. The Osmo Mobile is a handheld gimbal helps you capture smooth, stable and cinematic videos and images with your smartphone. Osmo+
Like the Osmo Mobile, the Osmo+ is a handheld gimbal however, Osmo+ has an integrated 7x zoom camera capable of capturing 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 100 fps for slow-motion video and 12 MP stills in RAW. The Osmo+ can be used to capture motion time-lapses over long periods of time. You can also use the Osmo+ to long exposure shots, moving selfies and high-quality panoramas. Goggles
The DJI Goggles are designed for an immersive FPV when flying the DJI product range. The Goggles offer 720p/60fps and close range 1080p/30fps through two high-quality, low-lag screens. In the Head Tracking Flight mode, your movements can control the aircraft yaw and camera tilt. In the Head Tracking Gimbal mode, simply control the aircraft’s gimbal. Other Intelligent Flight Modes are available such as Fixed-Wing Mode, Tripod Mode and more. The DJI Goggles also has a HDMI input to allow users to watch films, television and even play video games with an equivalent screen size of 216-inch screen from 10 feet away.
